Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for the friend request. I see you love horses, me too. I'm originally from the northern Chicago suburbs. When I was about 9 yrs old (back in the day of balloon tire bikes), spring, summer and fall I would ride my bike 8 miles to a Shetland pony farm. The owners showed me how to groom the ponies and when I was done they turned them loose in the pasture and I could ride them all I wanted, but they weren't wearing saddles or bridles .. so it was learn to ride bareback holding onto their mane. I went to the pony farm every chance I got for many years.
